Missions & Outreach
Every day we are called to represent Christ as we seek to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. By God’s grace and for His glory we want to impact our community and the world by raising up members who are transformed by the Gospel and serving others.
As the Gospel transforms us and as we begin to see how God has provided for us — a needy and sinful people — we are motivated by grace to love the community in which He has placed us and the world in which we live.
Vision & Mission for WPC’s Local and Global Outreach
Vision Statement:
We at Westminster desire to be a community of people who are committed to exalting God locally and globally by participating in the spread of the good news of God’s amazing, transforming grace to every nation, tribe, people, and tongue.
“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10)
Mission Statement:
With our prayers, giving, and personal encouragement, we support those who carry the message of new life in Jesus Christ throughout the world. We want to see individuals come to faith and develop as disciples. We want to see local, biblical churches established, maturing, and reproducing. We want to encourage and support members of Westminster to serve the Kingdom whether in the U.S. or abroad.
As followers of Christ, we also seek to demonstrate the love and mercy of our gracious God through active involvement in our community, sharing the gospel with our neighbors and striving to serve them in partnership with other churches and local organizations.
