ADVENT is a season of anticipation that recalls Christ’s incarnation and yearns for His return. We mark these weeks with the saints of all the ages, in a posture of hope. This year, our Revelation study has readied us more than ever to cry, “Even so. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!” (Rev 1:7, 22:20)

At WPC, we focus on a series of biblical themes each week of Advent, introducing them in our Sunday worship with Scripture, prayer, song, and lighting candles in our Advent wreath. Our children and youth progressively decorate our narthex with ornaments they create and hang on Sundays throughout the season as they explore the weekly themes in their Sunday School classes.

Connect Sunday worship with daily life by echoing our Advent observances at home.
